About Our Courses

A little bit about where the course takes place...

All our courses are located within our working bakery, located in the heart of Westport town (click here for directions                   ). Typically the courses run over a Sunday or very occationally a weekend day evening, when the bakery is closed to the public.

The area in which you will be working in is a fully working bakery, therefore please be aware of this when you book. Sensiable shoes that have good grip are advised, such as trainers or flat closed shoes. As you will be working with food, if you have long hair please bring something to tie it back with, hair nets and ties can be provided if you forget so don't worry!


Tea and Coffee Area.

Some of you might have visited our bakery before and realise that we are not a sit down coffee shop. But don't worry this bakery adapts and we have chairs stashed away and a large central table for you all to sit round, enjoy your goodies and have a good chat! We also have a great coffee machine!



There is free carparking available outside the bakery, or within the town. If you need to park close to the bakery for personal reasons please contact us and we can arrange to save you a space for your arrival. The bakery has toilet and small washroom facility for your use through the course.

Course Teachers...

Most of our courses are hosted and ran by Becca. Becca owns and runs the bakery, she is a qualitified pastry chef who has experience within AA Rosette, Five star hotels and high end contract catering.

Cake decoration courses are hosted by Becca with the help of Karen. Karen is our in house cake decorater who has competed sugarcraft courses including sugar flowers. Take a look at some of her masterpieces over on our facebook page or by clicking the link on the top bar marked 'Cakes & Bakes'.


Paying for your course...

We require a non-refundable deposit or full payment for each course that you take part in. This can be paid by either popping into the bakery, by cheque or by card via the phone. For phone payments please ring 0871131009 within bakery opening hours.
